A court in Moldavia banned Moldavia's Gay Group, genderdoc-m office's gay demonstration in the city center of the country's capital Chisinau. This year's event had to take place in a secluded park away from downtown, to protect public order and morality. Past gay demonstrations were violently attacked by homophobes, who savagely injured gay activists.
My heart goes out to gay Moldavians. I hope you have the freedom to express yourselves in the future. I also hope you can be respected and not be violently attacked in the future.
